The Update History pages chronicle the changes made to Titanium Schedule by past incremental updates. Updates are listed in reverse chronological order. This page represents approximately one year of changes. Successively older updates can be seen by reviewing earlier pages (see bottom of page).
Version 9/12/2011
(Show details...)
A long time ago, the Titanium login password was only upper case. When it was made case sensitive years ago, an extra piece of logic was added to also test an all capital version of the password to aid users in the transition. That extra logic has now been removed. If your password no longer works after this update, try entering your password in all capital letters.

Modified the Client Import feature so it would not create a new data form if they did a manual import and the existing data form was too old when the configuration setting was set to NEVER or NEW CLIENT ONLY.

Various minor modifications were made so that the current Titanium application (version 9) will work with the new database changes required by the next version of Titanium (version 10).

Version 7/23/2011
(Show details...)
Added some logic to try to recover from a dropped connection to the SQL Server. In some cases, this will allow you to continue to use Titanium (e.g. save an unsaved case note) after the connection to the SQL Server was dropped. In the past, Titanium would just display a Fatal Error and require you to restart Titanium. This logic is not perfect, and it cannot recover from all dropped connections.

Fixed a minor issue with the recently added logic that prompts a user if they want to add an appointment to their own schedule when they are adding an appointment to another schedule. (e.g. like when scheduling appointments in shared group rooms) Previously, the feature was not checking to make sure the current user had a schedule in Titanium for the appointment to be added to.

Added a Page Setup dialog that comes up after the Printer Selection dialog on Vista and Windows 7. The default printer dialog in Windows XP had both a printer selection and page setup option. Changes in Vista and Windows 7 had removed the page setup part of the default printer dialog used by Titanium, so a second dialog had to be added.

Modified the My Clients screen so that, when it is run for Active and Unassigned, it will show the Last and Next appointment dates for any counselor.

Added a new weekend definition option of Thursday/Friday to support installations in countries like Saudi Arabia.

This feature only applies to those that are submitting data to the CCMH Research Center. There is a new button on the User/Staff Demographics tab to let you easily delete all demographic data for a particular staff member. If a staff member has not consented to having their demographic information sent to the CCMH, this button gives you and easy way to remove all their data from Titanium so it is not sent to the CCMH in the future. The CCMH will only uses the staff demographic information from the last month of a statistic year, so even if a staff member's demographic data was sent previously, if the last month data transfer does not contain their demographic data, then the final copy of the research database for that year will not include that staff member's demographic information.

Version 4/7/2011
(Show details...)
Fixed an issue that was introduced recently that, if you add a new client and immediately Cancel the add process, it would show an incorrect warning about the new record matching many of the Non-Client notes.

Fixed an issue that, if you deleted a Client record, you could still click on the Demographics button, and it would try to add demographic information for the now deleted client.

The recent security feature that was added to hide client names on the schedule screen for schedules other than their own has been modified. It will now show the user the client name(s), when the appointment is opened, and if the appointment is also on the user schedule. For Individual appointments, it will also show you the client name if the user is assigned to the client. This will also fix an issue with users opening an appointment from the Client File and the Note button being disabled.

Fixed an issue on the Find DSM code dialog (called from the Invoice screen) that would result in an error if you entered a code for which there were no matches. It now correctly displays a message indicating there are no matches.

Fixed a couple of inconsistent behaviors related to enabling and disabling buttons on the case note screen.

Fixed two issues in the CCAPS Center Wide Change report that could incorrectly count the number of appointments between administrations. It was ignoring the Individual and/or Group checkboxes on the report criteria screen and always counting both types of appointments. It was also counting appointments that were on multiple schedules multiple times.

The CCMH program has been modified to address some timing issues when it is first started that were resulting in a Failed to execute CLP error. The change should make those errors at least 10 times less likely and may eliminate them completely.

Version 2/25/2011
(Show details...)
Fixed an intermittent timing problem with launching the CCMH Transfer program that resulted in some users getting error messages related to their inability to send data to the CCMH.

Modified the Find or Add New Group Signup Sheet screen so the column spacing is more appropriate for the contents of the columns.

When a new client is added, the system will look for any Non-Client notes with the same first and last name and display a message if any notes are found. This is not a perfect solution because names can be misspelled. The message is only displayed once, and if it is ignored, it will not be displayed again. The intent is to alert the user to go look at the Non-Client notes with a matching name, and if they are really for this client, then the notes should be moved into that Client’s file using the File button on the toolbar.

Fixed an issue on the Client File screen where a Diagnosis entry would not be displayed unless there was information entered in Axis I or Axis II. So if only GAF information was entered on Axis V (and now Axis I or Axis II data was entered), then the Diagnosis entry would not have been displayed on the Client File screen.

Version 1/12/2011

Titanium now has the ability to allow centers to send de-identified data to the CCMH research data repository. This feature is not automatic. If you decide to send data, you will have to go to the CCMH tab of the System Configuration screen, specify that you want to send data, then periodically go back to that screen and click the Transfer data to the CCMH button. Then, Titanium will connect to the CCMH data repository and find out what month(s) of data it does not have for your center and ask for permission to send that data.

For information on participating in this project go to the CCMH web site at http://ccmh.squarespace.com.

For detailed instructions on sending the data contact the CCMH at ccmh@sa.psu.edu.

Fixed a bug in reports that were filtered by the Note date so they correctly include data on the end of the date range. Data that was entered through the Web Component was being excluded for the last day of the specified date range. For example, if you ran the Data Form Statics report for 9/1/10 to 9/30/10, the data forms entered via the Web Component on 9/30/10 would not be included, when they should have been. Instead, they would show up if you ran the repot for 9/1/10 to 10/1/10. No data was ever lost, and, at most, only one day (the last day of the report period) per report was affected. If you do not use the Web Component, you were not affected at all. Now the reports are correct.

Modified the drop down lists on the Data Forms in Titanium so that they show more items when the list is open.

Modified the Data Form Statistics – Export Detail feature so that it will include the raw subscale scores and the standardized sub scale scores.

Fixed a problem in the Data Form Statistics – Export Detail feature that could occasionally result in an Invalid or duplicate column name error message.

Fixed an error in the Maximum Users by Date report that was reporting too many logged in users for some days.

Added a configuration setting that can prevent TRAINEE and COUNSELOR level users from seeing client names on the schedule screen. The intent of this feature is so that, if some users can see multiple schedules, like shared group rooms, they can be blocked from seeing all the client names on those schedules.

Normally, COUNSELOR and TRAINEE level users can only add appointments to their own schedules. A new feature was added that gives some COUNSELOR and/or TRAINEE level users the ability to add appointments to specific schedules other than their own, like schedules that represent Group Rooms or Shared Therapy rooms. This feature can be used in conjunction with the feature that hides client names on schedules for some users (see above). That way, users can see these shared schedules and tell where the open slots are without also seeing the client names of other therapists.

Version 11/2/2010
(Show details...)
There is a new simple spelling checker option as an alternative to using the Microsoft Word spell checker. This feature is not as sophisticated as the one in Word, however, for users who are having a problem getting the Word spell checker to work with Titanium, or who do not have Word installed on their computers, this is an option. To switch to this spell checker, go to Configure, then User Configuration, and in the Spell Checker dropdown list, select Titanium (alternative) instead of Microsoft Word.

The Login Audit Trail report on the Security tab of the System Configuration screen now lets you filter the report by date range.

Fixed a problem with the Users and Schedules screen where the Login Status was not always being updated as you moved from user to user.

Fixed a minor typo on the Approve Incoming Data screen where the screen that allowed you to manually match an incoming client was showing the client’s first name instead of their Student ID number.

Fixed a bug on the Service Provided To report which was not honoring the Skip blank Service Provided To setting unless there was also an attendance filter specified.

CCAPS Related Changes:

There is a new CCAPS National Comparison report on the Reports screen. This report will compare the standardized average score of each subscale of your clients to the national average scores.

There is a new CCAPS Center Wide Change report. This report will show changes in both subscales over time as well as changes in critical items like “I have thoughts of ending my life”. The interpretation guide that describes this report is available on the Help menu under CCAPS, then CCAPS Center Wide Change Report Interpretation Guide (2010).

There is a new version of the CCAPS Profile report that displays Percentiles instead of the T-Scores that were on the old profile report. It also incorporates a new Reliable Change Indicator. You have to turn on the new report on the Notes & Data Forms tab of the System Configuration screen as show below. The manual that describes this new report is available on the Help menu under CCAPS then CCAPS User Manual (2010).

Version 9/3/2010
(Show details...)
Fixed a bug that resulted in more of the Diagnosis screen being enabled than intended for users who have not licensed the DSM IV codes. The diagnosis screen now correctly disables some areas (i.e. Axis I, Axis II, Axis IV). Any data already entered in those fields will still be visible both on the Diagnosis screen and the Diagnosis tab of the case note screen.

Fixed an issue that would let you spellcheck a disabled field.

Fixed a problem that would result in an error if you tried to save an empty date (e.g. Report dates, or Task List cutoff date).

The Web Component has an optional feature to record the IP address of the computer entering information via the Web Component. There was, however, no easy way for a user to see that information. We added that IP address to the Client screen audit trail information. If you click on the Added By text at the button of the client screen, some audit trail information will display for that client. If the client record was added from the Web Component and the option to track IP addresses was on when the client record was entered, the IP address will be show.

Fixed a minor problem that resulted in a This.Parent.Interface.Click error if you clicked on the small yellow lock icon at the top of some schedules on the schedule screen.

Fixed a problem related to the background timer feature in Titanium that could, under rare circumstances, result in unexpected behavior.

Fixed a problem on the Client File screen that would occasionally display a client note more than once if there were more than one Data Form associated with it.

Version 7/15/2010
(Show details...)
Schedule Viewer and Appointments:
Fixed a bug that could result in a "Data type is invalid for this property" error on the Appointment Screen if the appointment was part of a recurring series and there was a problem with the recurring series definition.

Some changes have been made in order to reduce the chance of an appointment that is on multiple schedules from being accidentally deleted by a user who is just trying to remove it from their own schedule.

First, if the user does not have the rights to modify all schedules (e.g. Counselor or Trainee level users), then they no longer have the ability to just delete the entire appointment. They can still open the appointment, go to the schedule tab, and remove it from all schedules except their own, and then delete it. Similarly, those users can no longer change the length of the an appointment that is on multiple schedules by dragging the bottom edge of the appointment.

Secondly, as show below, if an appointment is on multiple schedules, you will see a new confirmation dialog screen asking if you are trying to delete the entire appointment or just remove it from the current schedule. Only Clerical, Admin, and System level users will have the option to delete the appointment. That option will be disabled for other users.

To help better track deleted appointments on the View menu, there is a new History of Deleted Appointments option. This feature cannot display much information about appointments that were deleted before this update was installed, so much of the history will be blank the first time you look at it. This option will display a screen showing information on deleted appointments. It might not tell you everything you want, however it will give you information on who deleted an appointment and on which schedule(s) the appointment was originally located. You can use the search feature to find out things like who deleted your appointment that was schedule for this Friday or all the appointments deleted by a specific user over a specific date range. One thing that the history cannot tell you is the name of the client(s) for individual and group appointments that were deleted.

Data Forms:
If a Data Form contained a textbox control that expected a numeric value (like the GPA field on the SDS), and you tabbed through that field without entering anything, it would store a value of 0. If you wanted to reset it to blank/null, you had to press Ctrl+0 on the keyboard. Now, if you just tab through a field like this, it will leave it as blank/null.

Fixed a bug related to Editbox fields on Data Forms with a maximum length set and the Expand to Full screen feature. On a Data Form that had an Editbox - Long text response control that was set to only allow a certain number of characters (e.g. 2000), you could still right click on the control and select Expand to Full Screen, and you could enter more than the maximum number of characters. When you saved your Data Form, the text would be truncated to the maximum length, and you could unexpectedly lose the last part of the text. Now, the Expand to Full Screen feature will only accept text up to the maximum length. On a related topic, if you try to use the keyboard shortcuts to cut-and-paste more text into one of these fields than they can accept, nothing will happen. It will appear like the "paste" is not working.

Added the ability to specify how much of a heading should be printed for a Data Form if you are printing a single Data Form from the Data Form screen. The settings are made through System Configuration on the Data Forms screen. The settings are in a new column titled Print Page Header. This was specifically added to make it easier for Disability Centers to print accommodation letters without the standard heading that Titanium was adding to the Data Form. Note: If you print the entire note, or print multiple notes from the Client File, these new settings are ignored. The three choices are:

Full Header is the default and prints the way it did before this update

Title Only prints just the title, which is usually the name of the school or center

No Page Header does not print any page header

Reports:
The note printout will now correctly display the alternative text for "Counselor" if that has been defined in the System Configuration area.

Tweaked the performance of the Maximum Users by Date report and made some adjustments to better count users who did not exit Titanium correctly. (e.g. Just turned off their computer.)

Fixed a bug in the Data Form Statistics by Appointment report that would occasionally not find the expected Data Form information if there were multiple notes for that client on the same day and the note the report was looking for was not the last one added to Titanium. If there was only one note that day for that client, it worked fine, or if the note was the last one added for that client on that day, it also worked fine.

Modified the Export Detail of the Data Form Statistics by Appointment to also include the clients and appointments that did not have matching data forms so users could find which clients in the reporting period did not have the expected Data Form.

Task List:
There have been some requests to allow a note that has already been signed and locked to be forwarded. Historically, once a note was signed on line 3 and locked, it could not be forwarded anymore. On the Task List tab of the Configuration Screen, there is a new checkbox for an option titled Allow signed and locked notes to be forwarded. If you select his option, a note with a value in the Forward To field will show up on that person's Task List with a status of "Review (Note is locked)". Normally, the Forward To Note field will have an explanation of why someone sent you this note. To remove this note from your task list, double click on it to open it and clear the value in the Forward To field. (Or write something in the Forward To Note field and change the Forward To value to send the note back to the person who originally sent it to you or to someone else.)

A word of caution on this feature: The Forward To value is automatically cleared when a note is signed on line 3, so most notes will not have a Forward To value. However, if you have any existing locked notes that someone tried to forward in the past, they may still have Forward To values, and when you activate this feature, all those notes will appear on a user's Tasks List.

Miscellaneous:
Added validation so that notes require a date. This is rarely an issue because notes always default to having a date, however it was possible to erase the date from a note and save it. That was confusing and affected the way it was displayed in the client file.

Fixed a minor bug on the User and Schedules configuration screen that did not correctly show which user you were positioned on after adding a new user and then saving them from the Detail tab of that screen.

The Client File logic has been modified slightly to fix a rare problem where a client note with multiple Data Forms could be listed more than once. When this happened, some Data Forms were displayed under one listing, and the reminding Data Forms were displayed under the other listing.

The links to our website that are accessible from the Help menu have been updated to point to appropriate locations on our new website.

Version 3/11/2010
(Show details...)
Automatic Client Assignment for New Clients
There are two new configuration settings on the Security tab of the System Configuration screen that will let you set some new options to automatically add a new client to the My Clients list for the user who is adding the new client. There are only options to do this for COUNSELOR and TRAINEE level users. The reason for this is that in some training centers the TRAINEE level users add their own clients and without this setting they had to ask someone else to assign them to their new client since they did not have the rights to do so. This does not change TRAINEE right to let them change existing Client Assignments. It just let them be automatically assigned to new clients they add.

Reports
There is a new report called the Maximum Users By Date in near the button right of the Reports screen. It will let you analyze the maximum number of simultaneous users in Titanium for a particular date. It will also show you at one time the maximum number of users was reached on that day. The intent of this report is to help you determine how many User Licenses you need for Titanium. There is a total in the title at the top that displays the highest number simultaneous users found during the report date range.

The Billing Revenue Summary by Billing Code report can no longer by run using the Paid Date, it can only be run using the Invoice Date. The report does not make logical sense when run by Paid Date if there multiple payments and multiple line items on an invoice because there is nothing to relate a particular payment to a particular line item. So a report that takes the date from the payment and is group by billing codes that come from the line items is not possible. In the past the report would only work correctly if there was only one payment and only if it was a full payment for all the line items on the invoice.

Invoices Needed
Added a checkbox to the top of the screen to exclude appointment that have an invoice with a 0 amount that have at least one line item. The purpose of this is to address the situation where some centers do not charge for a particular appointment however they do create an invoice and add a line item to that invoice to explain why they did not charge. Because those invoices had an Invoice Amount of 0 they were still being displayed on the Invoices Needed screen.

Fixed a problem on the Invoices Needed that if a group appointment required invoices and the appointment was on more than one schedule then the number of invoices needed for the appointment was incorrect. It displayed the number of clients times the number of schedules. This did not result in an duplicate invoicing.

Miscellaneous
Added an "Email All" button to the My Client screen to make it easier to create email lists for a particular counselors clients and for all active clients.

Reschedule appointments are now treated like canceled appointments on the schedule screen in the sense that if you select the view only canceled appointments option you will see both canceled and rescheduled appointments. Also if you have Titanium configured to not show canceled appointments on the schedule screen it will no also not show rescheduled appointments. The reason for this is that rescheduled appointments really mean "canceled and rescheduled" so they should be treated similarly to canceled appointments.

Fixed a problem in the "Input Mask" field on the Data Form Designer. That field was not correctly showing any custom masks and would only show predefined masks.

Fixed a problem in the Find Open logic that could result in incorrect results with bi-weekly recurring placeholders. They could occasionally be off by 1 week.

Fix a problem with weekday recurring appointments that was not correctly honoring the weekend setting if it was set to something other than Saturday/Sunday.

Fixed a problem that would display an error message about "CHKOPTIONAL5" if a CLERICAL level user tried to print a the non-restricted part of a Client File.

A new dialog is displayed when Titanium starts if the SQL Server configuration file is missing. The previous dialog was misleading.

When a COMPUTER SUPPORT level user logs-in, they will see the Titanium Version Information screen before being redirected to the Check for Updates feature.

Fixed a couple of minor typos on some screens and dialogs.

Version 1/8/2010
(Show details...)
You will need to run Check for Updates twice to get this entire update.

CCMH Informed Consent
There is a new predefined Data Form from the CCMH. It contains a single question to indicate if a client is willing to submit their data to the CCMH. It also contains some sample text that you can change as needed for you center. Unlike other predefined Data Forms you can even change the text of the one question on this form however you cannot deactivate or delete the question.

Miscellaneous
Fixed a issue with the Task List where it would not show all items for a specific situation where the Task List was set to not show unsigned General use Notes and a group note was recently distributed.

Fixed a minor typo in question #33 of the profile report. The question seen by the clients was correct.

The routine to add the CCAPS 34 will now work correctly even if you do not have the older CCAPS 70.
